Meet Wallaby, our in-house therapy dog! He has been busy learning to be a calm presence, fly long distances, and install fences Woops! Puppy down! Wallaby had a challenging start being the runt of the litter. This little guy was still-born and had to be resuscitated by his breeder who, fortunately, is a pediatric nurse. He is an Australian Shepard so we named him Wallaby to honor his strong instinct to work hard. In Australia, wallaby describes someone who 'wanders about searching for work.' It is a perfect fit for him and we look forward to engaging him with clients when they feel it would be helpful.
